Nyimo beans (500g)
Nyimo bean is the local name for the Bambara groundnut, a legume considered underutilised and a lost crop of Africa as it is little known outside of the continent. Nyimo beans are naturally superior to most other legumes. They can be harvested green for eating fresh and roasted as a snack. The seeds can also be left to ripen and harvested as dry beans for storage.Seeds are also roasted and ground using flat stones to make a kind of peanut butter.
